The ghosts and ghouls are coming out because we have crammed so much into spooky season this year!

 

Saturday, October 7th: National Mead Day

National Mead Day is now the first Saturday in October. Come celebrate with us!

  • We have just a couple of spots left for our guided tour and sampling with Ben the Ranger. Tours are at 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30 for $10. Sign up here while space allows!


  • Adding to the fun, our friends Open Beta will be back to fill our tasting room with their nerdy folk tunes from 4 - 6 pm. They always bring a crowd so plan to grab a seat early!


  • You're gonna be hungry from all this mead and merriment. We've got you covered! Jason the Monk will be here to dish out mouth-watering smash burgers and mead-soaked brats. To top it all off, a treat of heavenly Butterbrew ice cream awaits.

Sunday, October 8th: Deathnomicon

Attention all brave D&D adventurers! Grab your dice and test your skills in this dark and deadly adventure. If you're an experienced D&D 5th Edition player, don't hesitate to join us for this three-table simultaneous event. For $25, you'll secure your spot and be treated to a flight of delicious mead. Exciting prizes await in various fun categories. Spots are limited, so sign up using the link below and be part of the action on Sunday, October 8th from 5 - 8:30 pm.

 

Friday, October 13th: Hollywood Horror Night

Get ready for a spine-chilling Friday the 13th as the hauntingly talented author and screenwriter Rebecca Klingel (aka C.K. Walker) joins us at Scale & Feather! At 7 pm she'll be weaving tales of terror and sending shivers down your spine with her stories, setting the stage for an unforgettable horror night.


Rebecca is a screenwriter from Los Angeles who has written for several Netflix shows including The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and the upcoming Fall of the House of Usher. She's worked with film icons David Goyer, Mike Flanagan, Eli Roth, Mark Hamill, and many other talented filmmakers! She's also written several horror novellas, including Borrasca which was recently adapted into a podcast starring Cole Sprouse.


But that's not all! Jason the Monk will be adding some sizzle to the evening with his scary good smash burgers and mead-soaked brats, perfectly complemented by our limited edition Heroes' Feast Pumpkin Pecan ice cream - a concoction worthy of Halloween legends!

 

Sunday, October 15th: Bardic Inspiration

Get into the Halloween spirit with our Thrift Ghost Painting event! Join us from 5 - 7 pm for a guided experience where you'll transform a thrifted scenic painting into a spooky masterpiece that'll send chills down your spine! Grab your tickets now for just $50 and enjoy four 2 oz mead pours while unleashing your inner artist.

Sunday, October 22nd: Paint a Gravestone

Get ready to embrace your Spooky Spirit! Join us from 5 - 7 pm for the first-ever Paint a Gravestone Event hosted by our friend, Bewitching Axolotls! We can't wait for you to create a hauntingly beautiful decorative gravestone perfect to adorn any home or office space! Secure your spot now by signing up today! Tickets are $40 and include all the materials you need, plus a 4 oz pour of mead to inspire your creativity.
